Definition

Divi is a page builder and theme by Elegant Themes, available as an annual or lifetime license. It offers a visual frontend editor with drag & drop and over 800 pre-built layouts. Since 2024 there's Divi 5 with a new JSON-based file format.

Divi 4 vs. Divi 5

Divi 4 uses a shortcode-based format ([et_pb_section]...) and is very widespread. Divi 5 (2024) uses a new JSON format and features a revamped Visual Builder. anipage.io supports both formats and generates native markup for the selected version.

Divi AI

Divi AI is an add-on for existing Divi Pro customers, offering AI-generated text and images for individual modules. It requires an active Divi Pro subscription. anipage.io, in contrast, is independent of Divi and can generate Divi pages without an Elegant Themes subscription.
